About us:

Woodman Farrow was established in 2011 by Jim Haywood following a career spent managing environmental and sustainability projects and programmes across a wide range of organisations. Jim started his career as a Royal Naval engineer officer, serving in both diesel and nuclear submarines. As well as helping develop his engineering skills (he is a qualified nuclear reactor supervisor with a PGDip in Nuclear Reactor Technology and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers), Jim's time in the Navy gave him valuable experience in leadership, team working and working under pressure against tight deadlines to deliver results. Added to the wealth of experience he has gained through senior project and programme roles in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, this equips Jim and colleagues at Woodman Farrow (often working alongside associates at Achill Management whose own expertise and experience complements those of Woodman Farrow) to deliver high quality, cost-effective, value-adding solutions for clients of all sizes, sectors and situations.
